Impossible bid
Most of the time, making an 'impossible bid'means bidding a suit which could not have 4 cards or more . An astute partner will not be fooled. For example, you opened the bidding with 1 ♦, Your partner responded with 1 NT and you repeated your ♦. The responder now bids 2 ♥.he cannot have 4 cards in ♥, otherwise he would have bid it in bis first response !

Impossible bid after a 1 ♥ opening bid
if you respond 1NT after a 1 ♥ opening bid. It means .... that you do not have 4 cards in spades (let alone 5 or 6) .DIn that séquence the 2 ♠ impossible bid by responder shows a strength in ♠ and a strong ♣ fit.
