- PASS with less than 4-5HCP.
- Support bids:
- at the lowest level with three trumps and more than 4-5HCP
- propose game at the three level with four trumps and 8-9HCP
- go to game with four trumps and 10-11HCP
- Make a forcing jump shift with 11HCP or more and a five-card suit
- Cue bid the overcalled suit with 12HCP or more (slam proposal)
Supporting bids
In a competitive auction and with a hand limited to 10-11HCP, you must give immediate support at the right level.
Give polite support at the lowest level with at least 4-5HCP
Propose game at three level with four trumps and more than 8-9HCP
Go to game with four trumps and 10-11HCP.
