1 The lead suit in a NT contract
If there is any hope of putting the contract down on the lead - then take it ! Above all avoid giving them a trick by leading badly.
- the 5 card suit bid by your partner
- your longest suit
- a major suit of at least 4 cards containing an honor in-an unbid suit
- Think about the bidding :
- A suit not bid
- A major when the bidding was 1NT-3NT
