Opener's 1NT rebid

PDF
Opener's NT rebid.
A 1NT bid always shows a regular and non forcing hand
The level depends on the strength of the hand :
  • With a regular and 1st zone hand (12-14HCP) : 1NT
  • With a 2nd zone hand (15-17HCP) :2NT no jump bid . This only happens after an opening in a major; without a 5 card major, you would have opened 1NT
  • With a 3rd zone hand (18-19HCP) : 2NT with a jump bid
