Pre-empt openings in third seat .
In third (and fourth) position the criteria for pre-empt openings don't exist...you can do anything!
In particular you can open pre-empt with two aces, with high honors outside the suit, or with four cards in the other major.

Indicate the good lead

Problème 1153
The opening which indicates the good lead, and, thanks to the two 3-card majors, it will be possible to pass after your partner's response of 1 heart or 1 spade.

The ensuing bids
Often, after your major opening in third seat , your partner will use the Drury convention to check the strength of your opening.
You can consult the Drury card (card index summary, then Conventions, then 2 clubs Drury)
