Fourth seat openings at level 1
In fourth position if you have a limited hand it means that each player has about 10 HCP.
It is important not to open for your opponents!
  • Open in 4th seat to get the contract
  • You can open more easily if you hold spades
  • With NT take into account any extras such as a strong 5-card minor

Pre-empt openings in 4th seat

In particular you can open pre-empt with 2 aces, with high honors outside the suit, or with 4 cards in the other major.
