Problem E5164 :Don't open 3NT with 8 leading tricks in one suit
Following bids after a 3NT opening
- With honors in the other suits and therefore the possibility to play NT, Responder passes.
- Without the possibility to play 3NT, but the strength to go for Game in Opener's minor, Responder bids Game in ♣ and if this isn't Opener's minor he rectifies to 5♦. (Responder has both minors)
- Without the possibility of being able to play 3NT and your minor is ♣, bid 4♣. If Opener's minor is ♣ he passes, if not he bids 4♦.
