The number of points that your Partner possibly holds dépends on the vulnerability. Non-vulnerable vs vulnerable he might only have 6-7HCP, but perhaps much more...!
His 2 suits contain at least 5 cards each.
If the opponents remain silent you are of course obliged to respond.

Your response will depend mainly on the existence of a fit in one of the suits and your distribution. Be aggressive with a good hand. In particular, with a fit in one of the majors, don't hesitate to go to game!
