  • Leading against a 6NT contractis completely different to leading against a 1 or 3NT contract.
  • Against a Slam don't take the risk of giving away a trick. For a small Slam, your Opps need approx 33HCP ... therefore your team has 7HCP. Before leading, evaluate your hand and that of your Partner.
  • If your Opps haven't shown much interest in the major suits, then you should lead one of those or the same applies to a minor suit.
  • Never lead under an honor
  • If you have the downfall in handdon't let your chance go by!
