As a result of a 2♦ multicolor opening, a 2♣ opening now becomes the strongest opening.
As well as a 2♦ multicolor opening, 2♣ is also a forcing opening bid. You can use this opening with a regular hand with at least 22HCP, any extremely strong one-suiter hand or any other distribution which is Game forcing.
Generally, this opening is Game forcing.
Important 2♣ is Game forcing, except after a negative or "Drop Dead" 2♦ response
and a rebid by 2NT.
In this situation, the sequence is only one round forcing.
