Opp overcalls after a Blackwood: DOP1
After Opp's overcall on a Blackwood bid, the response bids are changed.This is a fairly standard bidding convention:
  • D= Double = 0 ace
  • P= Pass = 1 ace
  • 1 bid up the line after the overcall (cheapest suit after overcalled suit) = 2 aces
  • 2 bids up the line after the overcall = 3 aces
If your team had already established a fit, respond bid the number of keys .
