In response to partner's openeing and after an overcall Jump shifts by responser are weak:
  • 4 tob 8HCP depending on vulnerability
  • At the 2 level, they show a six card Major
  • At the 3 level, they show a seven card suit

Caution !
  • If responder has initially passed, his jump is not pre-empt, but a 'Meet Me' bid.....
  • If the opps have not overcalled, a Jump by responder shows a Major two-suiter...
