- ruff 3 times from the hand with 5 trump
- and, also have 3 high honor trump cards in the other hand.
This way, you will make 6 trump tricks instead of 5.
Note :
- you turn your long trump hand into your short trump hand by the time you draw trump. If you have the same number of trump cards in both hands, this move doesn't achieve anything!
- You still need to be able to cross over to the other holding which has now become the long hand so you can play trump
Use this method of play, when it's not possible to ruff from the short hand.
