Milton Work's coup (also called Morton's tenace)
This coup is a kind of setback in a trump contract. Most of the time, you and dummy get a balanced suit
Kx/Qxx or Kxx/Qx
And you have an idea about where the Ace lies... When you play a low card towards the honor which is situated after the Ace, your opponent is embarrassed... he has to make a choice :
The opponent has to make an unenviable choice...
Example : you are South, playing 4♠ ; you believe Ace ♦ is in West's hand, how do you operate the suit ?
