Problem E1347 With 10HCP and a nice 6 card suit, jump repeat your suit. With 11HCP you would have used a 3rd suit forcing bid...

The responder, not fitted repeats his suit :
2) NUMBER OF CARDS PROMISED PROMISES
Depending on the séquence, The interpretation of this repetition varies
  • after a rebid by opener of a new suit at the one level : the repetition of his suit by the responder promises 6 cards (and not 5...) in a weak hand and no fit.
  • After a weak two suiter by opener: the repetition of his suit by the responder also promises 6 cards (and not 5...) in a weak hand and no fit.
  • After a strong 2 suiter by opener, the repetition of his suit by the responder promises only 5 cards (and not 5...) in a weak hand and no fit.(The opener then bidding 2 NT 'Slow down', would then make the sequence non forcing to game)
  • After a 1NT rebid by opener, he repetition of his suit by the responder promises only 5 cards (and not 5...) in a weak hand (less than 10 HCP) and no fit, as the opener indicates a fairly regular hand ...with 11+HCP the Responde would use the 'Roudi' conventioni.
