Responding to a 2NT trial bid
The opener has rebid 2NT :
  • With a minimum support hand, the responder bids 3 in the opener's suit.
  • With a maximum support hand
    • he goes to game.
    • With a very balanced hand, he may bid 3NT.
    • He may also bid another suit, with a strength in the named suit, in order to find the best contract
