Swing
A swing is a defense technique allowing your partner to overruff, when possible
  • When the opponent ruffs with a low card, your partner overruffs
  • When the opponent ruffs high, one of your partner's trumps is promoted (or one of yours).
NB : most of the time, the defenders have to cash their tricks first, before operating a swing.
