2nd bid by opener after opps raised the bids with a 'higher' suit
In the sequence 1 1 3 3 Zia advises that the opener should use the following bids to describe his hand :
  • Pass : With an ordinary opening and distribution
  • Double : wth defensive tricks and a shortness in .( Equivalent to a take-out double... not punitive!! !)
  • 3NT : Strong hand with a regular distribution
  • 4 or 4 : Strong 2-suiter
  • 4 : Nice opening, usually with 6 cards in
