Responses to one suiter cappelletti overcalls (2),
After a Two suiter overcall (2, 2 , 2 or 2NT)
  • Pass shows 6+ cards in and a willingness to play it
  • 2 is conventional and asks overcaller tp pass xith or bid his suit otherwise
  • 2 or 2 are natural, non forcing and 6+ cards in that suit
 
After a 2 (Majors) overcall
  • Support at the 2 level is preference and non forcing : the responder holds a maximum of 7 HD
  • Support at the 3 level: is natural and invitational with a minimum of 10 HD
  • Jump to game: is natural and sign off with a minimum of 12 HD
 
After a 2-suiter Major-Minor overcall (2 or 2 )
  • Bidding a new suit at lowest level is non forcing and promises a 6 carder and no fir in Major
  • 2NT : Asks overcaller to name his minor
  • Support at 3 level : is natural and invitational
  • Game level bids : are to play
 
After a minor 2-suiter (2NT)
  • 3 or 3 show a weak hand with a preference in that minor
  • 3 or 3 : show a long weak suit and no minor fit
  • 4 or 4CA: are natural and invitational
  • Game level bids (3NT, 5 or 5 : are to play
