In overcalls, jump cue-bids of a major opening is a request for a stopper to play 3 NT
This overcall, conventionally promisest :
  • an established 7 cards minore
  • and, in principle, stoppers in the other 2 suits
If the partner has a stopper in the opening major, he signs off at 3 NT, il annonce 3 SA : sif not, he bids 4 ♣ and the overcaller passes or corrects.
