Exercise 25552 Game seems out of reach ; Pass to show your weakness.

The responder after a strong 2 opening and a take-out double by the LHO
If not alerted by the opps, the double of a 2 opening shows a solit suit in . The attitude of the responder will be similar to that after an overcall in a suit:
  • With nothing interesting to show and less than 6-7HCP, he will pass
  • With a good 5+ cards suit with a high honor and the calues for gamre , the responder bids his suit
  • From 7HCP and with a regular hand , he must redouble
  • 3 is a cue-bid and shows a shortness in (the suit shown by the double)
  • Careful : 2 shows a nice suit and 6-7HCP...as it is not used as a relay anymore !
