Voluntary responses to the takeout double

Your Partner who has just doubled can have from 12 to more than 20 HCP.
The Responder having bid ... you only reply to the double if you have something to say!

  Bid your best suit at the lowest level with 5-7HCP
  With a stronger hand, bid with a single or double jump to show length
  Without a 4-card major and with stoppers in the Opener's suit bid 2NT or 3NT

A voluntary response with a suit

   With less than 5HCP, you pass
   With 5-7HCP, give your suit at the lowest level
   With 8-10HCP /

with a 5-card major, JUMP in that suit
with 4 cards in both majors, redouble
with 5 cards in both majors, cue bid the opener's suit with a stopper in the opener's suit and no 4-card major, 2NT

Voluntary responses to the takeout double with 11HCP or more:

   with 4 or 5 cards in a major, go to game
   with a stopper in the opener's suit, bid 2NT
   with 13HCP and a stopper in the opener's suit, bid 3NT
   without a natural bid, cue bid the opener's suit
